Take A Break at Bali . Day03

Day 3 is relaxing day.

We decide not go go anywhere far and enjoy sun tan at Sanur beach. But Sabur beach quite disappoited us. So we Just take a cab and go to Kuta beach. Thats not the nicest beach in bali, But still cleaner and more happening. Since its our first time come to bali. i think we should go to some commercial place will be safer.

The location of Kuta beach is real nice. Just right beside Kuta Square so after sun tan we just walk back to kuta square to hav our lunch at our fav restaurant one last time in this trip. 80% people over there are guai lou, another 18% are balinese and very few asian over there. Anyway its good too, i feel confortable to do wat ever i wan over there :p people won’t look at u.

Yeap! Bintang beer at the beach again! Ice cool and refresh!

Anyway as our plan we went back kuta square to hav lunch and art market for last shopping. Leave there around 4+pm to resort bath and take a rest. Then evening go to Jazz Grill Cafe just right oppisite our resort having nice dinner and yeap Bintang beer again lo~~~

Thats the end of bali trip lo~ Enjoy, Relax, really hav a good break for these 3 and 1/2 days.

4th stop for day2. Tanah Lot market and temple. The Land in the Middle of the sea located at Tabanan too. I saw the picture from the bali book that i bought from kino, i tell myself i must go this place!!! The scene is sooooo beautiful!

This place is so famous, theres full of local or foreign tourist hang around there. So u can see how famous is this place. I like shop at the market there! alot painting and cheap dresses selling there. Got my white cotton lacey dress there. cute n cheap.

Entrance and at the sea side of Tanah Lot. Damn freaking lot of people over there. After quick browse we faster leave the place and heading to Jimbaran for sunset dinner at the beach WOOHOOOO!!!!

We reach there at 5:30pm. Just nice sit there waiting for the sunset and have our seafood dinner. This is a great place to experience dinner by the beach in Bali. I’ve never have such experience in my life before lo~  The food are nice and the people are friendly too. Second place to drink alot Bintang beer in bali :p Cheers!!!!

Vis are having fun walk around the sea side. Saw a baby and her mum, the baby say hi to me, she is so cute! Not to forget show you the food we ordered! Very yummy lo!

Take A Break at Bali . Day02 . Part02

3rd stop for Day 2 is Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. This place is freaking far and located at Tabanan and theres a beautiful lake.

Before go to this place, i never know the wind here is freaking cold!!!!!!! BRrrrrrr The only thing i can cover up is my shawl.  We are like monkey jumping up and down moving around and hide behine the wall to block the cold wind >.<

There is alot balinese family/couple hanging around there, saw them picnic and sit there in a group chit chatting. Kids are wearing bali traditional cloth and running around play dunno wat game. I’m like invisible to them, haha may b they get use to see those tourist like me walk around take thier pictures.

Take A Break at Bali . Day02 . Part01

Day 02, We’ve booked a 1 day personal tour guide to bring us around the place we want to go. Thanks to kok wai recommend this tour guide. I highly recommend my friend go bali to hire personal tour guide lo. Much more relax and save a lot of time.

9:30pm the tour guide Wayan pick us up from out resort. 1st stop is some Batik place, forgot the name:p i’m not interested about that, but since he insist wan to bring us there, just walk around and see see lo. After that we stick my request we went to Pura Taman Ayun, Balinese garden temple. Very nice weather on that day, the sun is super bright! We walk slowly to enjoy the scene of the temple.

There a small hut theres a old man doing this painting there. Theres quite a few painting and art piece dispplay around too. The lion creature is cool! And also amaze my the 2 beautiful balinese ladies painting.

Of course not to forget take this part of the temple, everyone will take this pic when they back from bali. hahaha~

Take A Break at Bali . Day01

11072009, 5 am wake up get prepare take cab >mrt to Changi airport. 10+am depart go Bali lu~~ Flight abit delay+custom+take cab bla bla bla~ Reach we reach Sri Phala Resort Sanur already 3+pm. The resort is located at Sanur, 20~30 minutes from Denpasar airport. I’ve read the review of this resort from few website like asiarooms and tripadvisor, the review is not bad with the room rate. We stay at deluxe room, the room is big and clean, just the shower curtian quite old and dirty-.- But hor i like thier garden lo~ our room is facing swimming pool. Theres alot plant and trees around each bangloo. Full of privacy i can say.

After settle down, take a rest, faster get change and go Kuta Square and art market to get our late lunch then walk and shop and walk and shop. Kuta Square is quite similar with Siam Square in Bangkok (i feel la~) But this 1 is more sporty and beach version. Alot branches of Rip Curl, Billabong, and alot more~ some US brand that u can’t find in SG or KL too. We had lunch at Dulang Restaurant located at Kuta Square, actually was too hungry d we just simply choose a restaurant to hav q quick lunch la. But this is not the quick 1, we ordered quite alot :p Anyway nice food the serve!!! especially thier ice lemon tea lo! so refresh!

After lunch just continue walk around Kuta Square to Art market. I like Kuta Art market lo~ alot alot things to see and buy. Quite alot personal brand small boutique too. Bought few dresses over there, but convert to sgd/rm dun think got cheaper lo~ but in reasonable price.

Spent 4 hours over Kuta, we took a cab back to Sanur and go to the restaurant that we found on net b4 call Lotus Pond. It’s a cozy and cultural place. There lotus pond outside the restaurant, but the day we went, theres not much lotus lo~ This is the place we had out 1st Bintang beer:p hmm yummy n refresh for whole day stay until hot sun. The food is nice! Vis ordered satay meal, it come with mini stove to keep the satay hot lo~ so cute.

Yea~ i just back from  my short break at Bali. I thinking at this timing, I shopping at Kuta Square and art market with him. Ahhh i miss bali~~~~ Miss the food, the beach, the environment, the shopping place, the cool culture around bali, the weather, and the Bintang beer. We almost every meal drink Bintang beer in bali lo.

Picture at left handside is most memorable dinner i ever had. Sunset dinner at Jimbaran Aroma restaurant. Thanks for our 1day tour guide suggest n bring us there. Nice seafood, nice scene, nice people too.
